The DCH-B112 Smart Door/Window Sensor is a wireless sensor that connects to the DCS-8330LH Smart Full HD Wi-Fi Camera, as well as other mydlink Smart DIY devices with built-in hub functionality. You can install it anywhere you want to detect the opening or closing of a door or window. If the sensor is triggered, it will send push notifications to your mobile device which helps you keep tabs on your home while you are away. You can also set up automation rules to trigger other devices such as the DSP-W118 Wi-Fi Smart Plug, where for example you can tell the smart plug to turn on the lamp when you enter a room.

Set up the DCH-B112 easily via the free mydlinkTM app. Simply download and install the app on your mobile device and follow the step-by-step instructions to quickly configure the sensor. The DCH-B112 connects wirelessly to other mydlink Smart DIY devices with built-in hub functionality and doesn't rely on Wi-Fi as uses ZigbeeTM to connect to the hub - creating a mesh network with other mydlink Smart DIY devices. You can configure policies to trigger other connected home devices whenever the DCH-B112 detects the opening or closing of a window or a door.

The DCH-B112 discretely sits where a door or window meets its frame. When the main sensor unit is separated from the magnetic trigger, the mydlink app will push out a notification to your mobile device or actions to other connected devices in your mydlink mesh network. The ain sensor unit as well as the magnetic trigger can be easily mounted on any flat surface, allowing you to place them anywhere that is convenient. The 3 year battery life gives you the convenience of not having to constantly replace or charge batteries. The sensor bypass button allows you to open the door or window without triggering an alert.
